If you couldn’t tell by now, Chang doesn’t realize he is dead. This whole time he thought he was having a nice little swim around the house. This probably should have been a hint that floating outside of a tank wasn’t normal but hey, he jumped in a toilet thinking it was a bigger tank. He’s not exactly the most observant fish.
