Fish are Blue

What inspired you to write this comic?

Making comics is something I’ve dreamed of doing for the longest time but I could never come up with an idea that really stuck. Then I got a little blue betta fish and here we are!!

What made you get into comics?

Well to me, comics have always been a great way to express myself and escape the world. I grew up with a big family and I just needed to get away from them all sometimes. Drawing comics…making art…it was a way to celebrate, vent, escape and so much more. While sometimes I’d draw to hide from the world, I also drew to let my voice out. If you know me in real life, I’m pretty shy. I’m trying to work on that but its hard. I wanted to make comics so I had a way to communicate, make people laugh, tell a story, let my imagination out and even give others the escape that art gives me.

Can my pets and I be in your comic?  

At the moment, the answer is no. Maybe someday I’ll hold a contest to have a cameo in the comic, but for now nope. Sorry!
Will there be a Fish are Blue store? 

Yes! I’m slowly working on it and I’ll post a link when it’s up and ready.

Do you take commissions? 

When I have more time, I would love to do that! Sadly life has been pretty hectic for me lately, but if and when I’m ready to take commissions, I’ll make an announcement.
